Cardbide Saw Table – belt tensioning system

Self designed carbide tipped blade table saw tensioner system worked on and uses threaded studding to vary the tension pulley.

More progress with the saw table -quadrant for adjustment started

The quadrant for the carbide tipped sawblade table is machined using a rotary table followed by gear cutting the teeth on a Vertex dividing head.

Two pulleys completed for the table saw

Pulleys to hold bearings have been completeted, it won’t be too long before I can try the drive train and get a real idea of blade speed.

Saw table progress report: Too little time……but well get there..

Progress update on my bespoke carbide saw table. The backplate is made to size and the first gear pulley and shaft adaptions completed. Along with a brass insert for durability.
