		<description>Hello Andy, good advice but I didn&#039;t get the wood anywhere near the lathe. Indeed I moved out of the workshop and worked in the garage which looks after my Mk2 Jaguar and it made a terrific mess in there!

I must admit I hate woodworking as its such a dusty messy material unless of course you have yourself set up with dust extraction equipment.

If I do turn with wood then I take a lot of trouble to protect the machinery. But as I said its a very good point you make. Thanks for taking the time.</description>

		<description>If you use your metal lathe for turning wood you need to be careful that the motor vents don&#039;t fill full of dust.

However that sawdust is great for cleaning up oil spills around the workshop so I keep a pot of it for that use.</description>
