Fowler, Hit ‘n’ Miss, and finishing the ’special’ project!
Filed in Fowler A7 2" scale traction engine build, General engineering posts on Nov.10, 2008
This mornings session was spent cleaning up after finishing off the 'special' project. This then allowed me to size up the two tasks starting tomorrow. Firstly I reviewed the process for making the cams ( I am glad I write up my progress now!) and sourced a piece of copper for the dummy front plate for the Fowler boiler.
The plate needs to be formed to fit, then dummy rivets put into place with blow down cocks (dummy) to be made. Follow the progress on www.mikes-models.com
