I have a set of castings for a 15cc 4cylinder petrol engine which is in the 2009 plan. Unlike my other models, the Fowler traction engine and the Mills 1.3cc diesel engine, the Seal will be put to use (subject to a successful build of course) powering a large scale Fairey Huntsmen, classic boat.  I bought a set of plans and covered them in coverlon for protection and 'encouraged' Stephen, one of my Brothers, in building the boat whilst I build the engine.

I have also just repaired a large heavy duty fretsaw which is now located elsewhere.......Stephen called in today for a cup of tea whilst in the area for another reason. This seemed an excellent opportunity to con, opps sorry, let Stephen have the plans and the fretsaw so he can work on making a kit of parts for the boat. I think he was a little dazed as he drove off but no doubt he will enjoy building his first ever boat, and a large scale one at that! I hope to put some photo's of the build on the Blog as my website is more for model engineering, so watch this space as they say.

One demonstration bulkhead was made to test out the fretsaw after repairing and is show below......however it may not be good enough to use in the final assembly as it was more a trial cut. See what you think..
