Today I managed to make a new con rod (but nearly mucked up again just at the end!) and then onto the piston, which went really well. Started honing the new piston but decided to stop before the final size was achieved as I became very tired. However tomorrow (I know another tomorrow!) I will just have to do the final slight honing, then into the ultrasonic cleaner, before assembly and starting (I hope!).
